I was raised in a large family and have enjoyed working with children since I was a teenager. I have four children of my own, ranging in ages from seven to twenty eight. I love children and enjoy watching them grow emotionally, academically, as well as develop character. I enjoy hands on teaching.
I love teaching children about the Lord and His love for them. I like having fun with the children and I use a variety of themes and teaching methods: poems, songs, flannel board, music, and gross motor activities.
My previous experience in early childhood education includes teaching four year olds, kindergarten age and first grade, at Meadowbrook Christian School (1985-1987), Central Christian Academy (1987-1993), Kings Way Academy, and Christian Day Care (2004-2007), and as an intermittent substitute at Christian Day Care (2007-2013). I am now back full time at Christian Day Care since January 2014.
